The Field Hockey team faced their long-term rival CVU tonight for the first under the lights game of the fall season for SBHS. Led by captains Oli Roy and Grace Landerman, the team was one unit. Sophomore goalie number 00 Phoebe Barnes stopped two back to back shots in the first quarter. Later in the second quarter, Barnes stopped another shot off a corner that was crucial for the team's success. Number 6, Lucy Haas scored the shot that tied the game 1-1 and went into the second half tied. In quarter three, Barnes slide across the turf to make yet another save.
Overall, the Wolves held strong and played together. The energy tonight was unmatched.
