Don't miss the SBSD Fine Arts Festival tonight, April 17th! The event is at SBHS from 5:30-8:30 pm. The evening will open with African drumming by Victor Koblavi
Dogah, followed by music & drama performances throughout the evening! Art rooms will display the artwork from students at all 5 schools & have hands on activities, including clay mask making and a wheel throwing demonstration. Performances of 10 Reasons Not To Be in a Play, the student directed one-acts start at 6:15 pm. It is FREE to attend so come out & support SBSD arts!

In partnership with @awb_org, @cswdvt is collecting solar eclipse glasses to send glasses to places with upcoming solar events. You can bring the glasses directly to their site in South Burlington or drop them off at your schools.

Over 450 students from 27 schools across Vermont submitted essays for @sensanders State of the Union Essay contest and @sbhsvt Freshman Oliva Gray was one of the 15 finalists! Earlier this month, the finalists joined Senator Sanders at the Vermont State House for a roundtable discussion. Congratulations on this amazing achievement, Olivia!
