This fall the South Burlington School District is writing a new strategic plan to help guide us through the next five years, and I want our community to shape it. I am inviting anyone who would like to take part to join the Strategic Planning Committee: parents and guardians, students, staff, and community members.
The committee meets three times, at 6 pm, on Wednesday, October 14, Thursday, November 12 and Wednesday, December 9. The first meeting is in person at a location to be determined based on how many join the committee.
From the people who sign up, I will appoint a Steering Committee of 8 to 10. Its members will also meet three additional times, looking in more depth at the priorities the full committee identifies and bringing items back to it for consideration.
The district is working with SPARC Executive Development and Consulting, who will facilitate the meetings.
