The South Burlington School District commissioned the New England School Development Council (NESDEC) to conduct a comprehensive study of our enrollment trends and school facilities. The report includes three parts: a demographic study and ten-year enrollment projections, a review of the condition and utilization of each school facility, and a series of options for the District to consider.
This report is intended to provide objective information to support long-range planning and future community conversations. The options presented are not final recommendations or decisions, but possible approaches for the School Board and community to evaluate as we consider the District’s educational, operational, and facility needs.
