    • Won 2 Division II State Championships in Football
    • As a lineman Mark graded out on the 90%+ level for blocking and awarded the Outstanding Lineman Award
    • All-North and All-State both Junior and Senior years
    • Elected to the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl
             
     
    BrightPugh Becca Bright Pugh '91
    Field Hockey, Basketball, Track & Field
    • Selected to the Vermont All-Star team as the Field Hockey goalie
    • Varsity Basketball player for 4 years, making the final four each year
    • Achieved 1000 points and rebounds in basketball and won a State Championship in 1991
    • 2 event State Champion in Track for the shot put and discus, holding the SBHS record for shot put. 
    • Named to Vermont All State Basketball team for 2 years
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Female Athlete
    • Went on to play basketball in college
     

    HoughaboomHiggins Sara Houghaboom Higgins '81
    Field Hockey, Alpine Skiing, Track & Field

     
    • Holds 6 individual State Champion titles, 3 team titles and 1 New England Champion title for Track & Field
    • Was a member of 3 State Championship teams
    • Parade Magazine named Sara a High School All-American
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Female Athlete and the Gary Iverson Memorial Award
    • Sara went on to UVM where she continued her athletic successes
     
    Hussels Tammy R. Hussels '86
    Field Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Softball
    • Member of the Division I State Championship Field Hockey team
    • Named to the Vermont State All-Star team
    • 4 year Varsity Basketball player and member of an undefeated Vermont Division I State Championship team
    • Named Gatorade's Player of the Year in Vermont and the Converse All-American team
    • Elected to the All New England Softball team. 
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Female Athlete
    • Tammy went on to play Basketball at the college level
     
    JordonG Garry Jordan '85
    Football, Basketball, Baseball
    • Named to the All-State Football team for both offense and defense
    • Elected to the Shrine team and Honorable Mention as an All-American High School Quarterback
    • 3 year letter winner in Basketball, he received All-Star honors
    • Member of a Baseball State Championship team
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Male Athlete and the Gary Iverson Memorial Award
    • Garry went on to play  football at Division I college level 
     
    Methot Nicholas J. Methot '01 
    Cross Country, Nordic Skiing, Track & Field
    • A 12 Varsity Letter winner
    • Captained both Cross Country and Nordic Skiing
    • Named Skier of the Year as a Junior and Senior
    • Nick broke an 18 year old school record in the 800 meter while running in the New England Track Meet.
    • Qualified for the State Meet all 4 years
    • Nick went on to run at UVM  
    • An SBHS Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a SBHS student athlete who exemplifies Nick's passion for running and his ideal character: goal oriented, tenacious, honest, hardworking ,passionate, self-motivated
     
    OBrien Katie O'Brien '91
    Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field
    • Selected to the Vermont All-State team in Soccer
    • Lead the Rebels to 4 straight Final Four appearances, 2 Metro Championships and 1 Division I State Championship in Basketball
    • Named to the Vermont All-Star team
    • Katie was a State Champion in javelin her senior year
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Female Athlete
    • Katie went on to play Basketball at St. Michael's College
     
    Picard Greg Picard '76
    Football, Baseball
    • Member of the 1974 Division II Football State Championship team
    • Named All State at both offense and defense
    • Elected to the Shrine Game, scoring the winning touchdown for Vermont
    • 3 year Varsity player in Baseball named All-Conference
    • Member of the 1976 Division I Baseball State Championship team
     

    Ravlin Lester D. "Champ" Ravlin '63
    Football, Basketball, Baseball
    • It was a tall order for a new school trying to complete with "the big boys", but Champ help lay the foundation for future Rebels. 
    • Football played their 1st Varsity schedule Lester's Jr and Sr years.
    • In basketball Lester average 10 pts a game and helped the Rebels make their 1st State Tournament appearance. 
    • Captain of Football and Baseball teams
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Male Athlete
     
    SmullenM Mike Smullen '72
    Football, Hockey, Baseball
    • Won (6) state Championships during his High School career, (3) at BHS and (3) at SBHS. 
    • All-State selection in Baseball and member of (2)  Division I State Championship teams at SBHS
    • In Football named All-Northern for both offense and defense as well as  winning a State Championship at SBHS
    • Captained the Rebels in Hockey and Baseball 
     
                            
    Vinson Kathryn Vinson '95
    Field Hockey, Basketball, Tennis
    • Named to the Metro Conference All-Star team in both Field Hockey and Basketball
    • Named Player of the Year in both Field Hockey and Basketball
    • 1st to score 1000 points in SB Girls Basketball
    • Ranked as the #1 tennis player in the state of Vermont
    • Awarded the SB Kiwanis Award for Outstanding Female Athlete
    • Kathryn went on to play tennis in college
