I am honored to serve as the Orchard School Principal. It is a challenging but very rewarding position, currently serving in my eighth year at Orchard School.
I taught for twelve years – six years as a special educator and six years as an elementary teacher (including kindergarten!).
During my teaching years, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Education Administration at St. Michaels College. Since then, I served as a co-principal at Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax) and as the principal at Brewster Pierce Memorial School (Huntington).
Additionally, I was fortunate to attend the Vermont School Leadership Program as part of the Snelling Center for Leadership. I am currently working on my Doctorate degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies at UVM.
I am married and have three (college-age) children. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities.
