• New! For FY2022, we have launched a video series that we hope will answer some of your questions about both the current, proposed budget and the Vermont education tax system as a whole.

The videos include information on healthcare, specific budget Articles, the city-wide reappraisal, equalized pupils, the income based property tax credit, what was added back to the FY22 budget that was cut from FY21 and more!

We hope you find these videos informative and remember to vote March 2, 2021 or before. Ballots arrived in all registered voters' mailboxes in mid-February and have return postage affixed. If you plan to mail your ballot back, be sure to send it no later than Wednesday, February 24 to allow the time needed for it to be delivered by the post office. Ballots can also be brought to the polls or left in the City Hall night drop box before midnight March 1. In-person voting will be available Town Meeting Day, March 2 from 7:00 am-7:00 pm at all regular polling locations.
