    July 1, 2020

    The South Burlington School District Nutritional Services Department is committed to continuing to offer healthy, nutritious meals, free of charge to all children 18 years of age and under until Sunday, August 16th, 2020.
     
    Beginning Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, all meal distribution will be by bus only, 3 days a week. Drive thru pickup locations will close. Multiple days’ worth of meals will be delivered together. Monday participants will receive meals for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday participants will receive meals for Wednesday and Thursday. Friday participants will receive meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


    April 14, 2020

    Access to meals will be modified over sping break. During the week of April 20-24, bus delivery will only operate Tuesday, April 21 and pick-up locations will only operate April 22. Additional meals will be sent home April 16 and 17 on the regular bus routes.     March 22, 2020

    Dear South Burlington Families,

    On Monday March 23rd, the South Burlington School District will begin meal and elementary education materials delivery with our school buses. Meals will be delivered each weekday according to the bus schedules posted here. Education materials for elementary school students will be delivered on the 9:00 AM bus run each Monday. Please note that bus arrival times are approximate and that it may take us a few days to make adjustments as we refine this new system. Meal pick-up remains available from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Orchard, RMCS, Chamberlin, and FHTMS. We hope that you are well and we will continue to provide all possible support in these uncertain times.

    Dear South Burlington families that responded requesting meal delivery, To ensure a smooth transition, South Burlington Nutrition and Transportation Services will begin full meal delivery on Monday, March 23, 2020. You will be notified when Monday’s routes and delivery times are posted to the District website. Meal pick up and limited delivery service continue tomorrow, Friday March 20, in the same manner as the past two days.

    South Burlington School District’s Nutritional Services Department is committed to continuing to offer healthy, nutritious meals, free of charge to all children 18 years of age and under. No prior approval or application is required to access the meals. Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, bagged breakfast and lunch will be prepared in our production kitchen at Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School, 500 Dorset Street, South Burlington.

    These meals will be prepared in a safe, sanitary environment by trained, professional staff members.To maintain social distancing, meal distribution by drive-through pick-up service will be available at your children’s school at the times listed below. If you have children at more than one school, you are able to pick up all meals at a single school.

    Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday March 18, 19, and 20 Drive-Through Pick-Up Schedule:

    Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School 9:00 –11:30

    Rick Marcotte Central School 9:00 –11:30

    Chamberlin Elementary School 9:00 –11:30

    Orchard Elementary School 9:00 –11:30

    If you cannot pick up meals for your student(s) on these days, please contact Christa Chambers at 802-652-7053 or cchambers@sbschools.net to arrange for delivery. Meal delivery service options under the USDA meal regulations will be evaluated over the coming days.The delivery schedule will be provided as soon as possible.
