• Thank you for your interest in submitting a Bill to Student Council.

The South Burlington High School Student Council Bill process is a unique way for students to effect change in at SBHS. Any Bill submitted to the Student Council will be reviewed by the Executive Council, and then discussed by the entire Student Council. After discussions, and any amendments are made to the Bill, the Bill is put to a vote. If the Bill passes with a majority of the votes, the Bill will be brought to the administration by the Executive Council for discussion on possible implementation.

To prepare a Bill: Complete the Bill Template, and gather 20 signatures from students in grades 9-12.

If you have any questions: Contact your Class Officers or an Executive Council Member.

To submit a Bill: Contact Amelia Charbonneau, Student Council Executive President at: charbonneaua@sbschools.net.
