Post Season Updates

Long time Metro Coaches Dave Saddlemire and Jim Carter retired from coaching this year.  Saddlemire, Head Coach of Colchester Varsity and Carter, Head Coach of Winooski Varsity were instrumental in developing the success of their schools baseball programs, and were dedicated to the state - wide excellence of Vermont baseball as members of the Vermont State Baseball Coaches Association.  Saddlemire plans to stay active as a JV assistant at Colchester, and Carter as an outfield coach at the University of Vermont.  We'll miss them dearly, and wish them the best in their retirements !
Northfield wins fourth consecutive Vermont Division III State title and 11th overall !
CVU Senior Bobby Primo wrapped up his senior season with Metro North Player of the Year Honors and a Twin State nomination.  Primo led Metro with a .600 batting average this year, and picked off or threw out a stellar 36 runners in two years as a Varsity catcher.
Clark Morrison wrapped up his high school baseball career at Milton High School with Twin State MVP honors.  Morrison led the Milton gang as they lost only three games in their four year high school careers, and to a Vermont State Division II  title this year.
